Email with Yahoo Mail

Alerts for every website are sent from this account. The app password stays in the local database on this computer.

Send with

Yahoo Mail Free Yahoo account with an app password. Another SMTP server Gmail, Outlook, your host's mail server.

Create an app password in Yahoo

Sign in at login.yahoo.com and open Account Security.
Under External connections, choose Create app password, name it "Site Monitor" and choose Generate password.
Copy the 16-letter password. Yahoo shows it only once.

Your normal Yahoo password won't work here. If Yahoo won't create one, turn on two-step verification first, or try from a browser you've used with Yahoo for a few days.
